We are pleased to invite you to a special guest lecture featuring Dr. Luca Luceri, Research Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California and Lead Scientist at the USC Information Sciences Institute (ISI).

As social media platforms become central to our political and sociological landscape, they have also become breeding grounds for coordinated influence operations and misinformation. Dr. Luceri is at the forefront of this critical issue, leveraging machine learning, network science, and computational social science to expose the mechanisms used to manipulate public opinion.

In this talk, Dr. Luceri will discuss his extensive research into malicious behaviors in online ecosystems. He will share insights from his work on detecting geopolitical influence campaigns and developing AI-driven tools to enhance the resilience of our information environments. Dr. Luca Luceri is a leading expert in online harms and human-machine interaction. He is a co-Principal Investigator for the DARPA-funded INCAS project and recently received the 2024 ISSNAF Young Investigator Award for his work on AI-driven approaches to countering online manipulation.

This is a timely opportunity to understand the invisible forces shaping our digital world. We look forward to seeing you there on Tuesday May 19 at 19 h.
